sonification - Birch bark
The exploraiton of natural algorythms through sound: for this project the irregular patterns of birch bark marks were transferred into a program for composing music. The position and length of marks dictated the pitch and duration of sounds, which resulted in the melody that can be heard above.
Advanced Aesthetic Solutions - virtual grafitti
This installation is using a disused postmodernistic element of a building facade as a commentary on the eerie and manipulative way the beauty and cosmetic industry is pushing the enhancements agenda on women worldwide.
The intervention is made as a vitural collage / GIF, there is no visible clue at the location itself, except the qr code pasted near the spot, that allows curious visitors to view the so-called virtual graffitti. Piran, Tartini square, 2023
